How many rolls of wallpaper do I need?
A US double roll covers about 56 square feet, and a standard European roll covers about 5 square metres. Divide your total wall area by the roll coverage and round up.
- Subtract 20 sq ft (1.9 m²) per door and 15 sq ft (1.4 m²) per window.
- Add 10–15% extra for patterned paper to match the repeat.
- Always buy whole rolls — dye lots vary between batches.
